Katie Mal is an indie/ pop-rock artist and songwriter from Toronto, Canada.

Drawing inspiration from modern indie rock alongside the ’90s and and early 2000s, Katie creates music that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new. Her narrative, storytelling-driven songwriting blended with upbeat melodies invites listeners into her world.

After years of writing songs behind closed doors, Katie released her debut deluxe EP in February 2026. She is currently working on her debut album while continuing to build a growing community around her stories and light up stages in Toronto and beyond.
